Ranora If Ranora had any other choice, she wouldn't even be here. Something about it felt so shameful, to have to seek out a healer, like she was some weak, pathetic little thing that needed someone else to take care of her. But the thing was... there was this cut. Under her chin. And Ranora didn't know what to do. She had gotten it in a fight. A stupid one, which she would have won, if the idiot's friends hadn't kept pushing her back towards her opponent before she could collect herself. Ranora snarled at the memory, wincing when the action pulled at her chin. All this trouble and it wasn't even worth it - he could've just let her chew on her deer ribs in peace, but nooo. And who would she be if she hadn't accepted his challenge? And to add insult to injury, now here she was, seeking out a total stranger after a few days of the cut not only not getting better, but decidedly getting much worse. It was sore and swollen and red, long since scabbed over but... something wasn't right. Probably because of that bastard's nasty, bacteria-ridden mouth. Disgusting and shameful, she thought. How dare he even look her way? Ranora's stewing thoughts circled around her like storm clouds as she navigated her way through the familiar layout of the den site. Without even realizing it she avoided the gaze of every adult she passed, short legs carrying her swiftly over hollowed out mounds and around dug out tree roots. It seemed like ages before she finally reached her destination. Ranora didn't know much about Moro, beyond that she was apparently very smart, and very good at what she did. Only the soft, lingering scent of herbs really assured her that she'd even found the right place, though she couldn't see the woman herself. Not at first, anyway. "Hello?" Ranora called out, looking around. Her frown deepened, then she said quieter, but still loud enough to hear, "This is where they said I'd find you. If I came all the way out here for nothing, I swear..."Bri

The solitude that the position in her pack offered her was one of the only things Moro cherished in the world. Sure there were times where her solitude would be interrupted-like now-but more often than not she was left alone. Besides stupidity and little scuffles there wasn't much reason for the others in her pack to seek her out but when they did...it made the fae smile a little, knowing that in that moment she had the power, which was one of the only things that mattered in the Sanzin.
Hearing a small voice call into her den made her pause, brows knitting together. The voice had to belong to a child, tugging her to rise from her stash of herbs and walk towards the light where a small silhouette waited. "Your search isn't in vain," she said lowly, voice a bit rasp for lack of use, "what is it you need child?" Moro asked as she left the darkness of her den and stepped into the light, eyes narrowed as they adjusted, her overabundance of fur making her appear much larger than she was bits of herbs caught in the tangles, especially in her tail where it drug across the ground, giving her the appearance of something that was born from the earth in the shape of their kind.

Ranora After only a short moment of looking around, Ranora heard a rustling coming from within the dark expanse of the Heart's den, and for a brief moment, her eyes widened. A large, matted, and full-silhouetted creature who could only be Moro emerged with a creak in her voice like the groan of an ancient tree, her eyes squinting down and pinning Ranora in place. This was not at all what the pup had expected, but she schooled her expression nonetheless and felt her fur bristle. Steeling her brow, Ranora told herself this woman was just another big, plain oaf of a wolf, just like all the rest. "Moro... You... you can fix this, right?" Ranora hated the way her own voice sounded small in comparison, her words weak as she angled her chin up to show the festering wound. She cleared her throat and adjusted her posture, not even reaching Moro's own chin but meeting her gaze as if they were eye level. "I demand you fix it. Something's wrong."Bri

Her brow cocked at the expression of the little pup before her. An ornery one, she could already tell from the steely look on her face and the air she gave. It was a bit amusing to the old dame. The little thing could be as intimidating as she believed she was but it wasn't going to sway her. Moro had years of experience dealing with those so demanding, hell, the biggest thorn in her side was formed by none other than their leader who seemed to find annoying Moro one of her few pleasures. A pleasure that Moro didn't give into easily, hating to see the satisfaction on the Artemis's face.
"You demand me?" She asked with a hint of amusement to her gravely tone, "how interesting and who are you to demand me small one?" She replied, gaze flickering over the scab on the younglings chin, assessing as they spoke but making no move to find the remedy that would take care of such an ailment. "I may or may not be able to fix it."
