[PTab=PERSONALITY]
The Sanzin Suits of the past have always been...rather predictable. Arrogant, lazy, and self-centered wolves who just wanted the ability to say they had power. More like representatives rather than Leaders, in the eyes of some, these old hounds were laughable. Wolves who just wanted to be able to boss around the pack and laze about whenever they pleased. In comparison to those other fools, the Sanzin's current Suit is rather distinct.
Rather than the typical "look at me, I am your boss" that many within the Sanzin were used to, Artemis is a far more assertive she-wolf who knows where she stands. While the previous Suits were wolves who demanded respect without having done anything to deserve said respect, this she-wolf makes it known that she worked to get where she is. Rather than lounge about without a care in the world, she actually watches over and takes control of the pack when needed. As the Alphess of the pack, she knows that it is far more than just serving as the face of the pack. She isn't where she is just to be a friendly face when it comes to interacting with the other packs; she is the highest authoritative figure, which means she has duties to uphold. And she is not the sort to push those aside. Though, as to be expected, this openly dominant nature stretches further than merely stating that she is the Suit. The typical egocentric nature that the Sanzin are known for runs strong within her, her own importance and her own freedoms a constant factor in her thoughts. As the Suit, there comes more than just a title. Despite the stubbornness of those beneath her, she holds the power of the pack in her paws, and she takes advantage of this. There is no one above her who can tell her what she can and cannot do. If she wishes to spend the day in the pack’s camp and tower over her packmates, she will. If she wishes to take a day to sleep in, she will. Or, something far more common than the other two, if she wants to leave camp and wander the territory, or even wander the neutral lands, she will do so. And she will do so whether she is alone or not. Do not misunderstand, she does not push aside her responsibilities or duties just to go for walks. It is actually rather common for her to go into the pack camp and take matters into her own paws, assigning patrols, both ending and encouraging fights, and ensuring that it is known who she is to them. But, in her eyes, an Alpha confident enough to walk away from the pack and return to a pack still standing is worthy of their position. She takes her leave from the camp intentionally, both for the peace and quiet as well as in a test. When she returns, if the pack is disorderly or rather rambunctious, she knows that her iron paw is needed. If not, then she is doing her job well.
In addition to all of this, there are a few other traits that Artemis displays that are both normal and abnormal from the typical attitude of the pack. Starting with the abnormal, there has always been something rather interesting about sitting back and watching others for her. Watching as other wolves go about their day, the emotions that cross their faces, the little ticks and habits they developed over their time alive, how they react in different situations presented to them. The power of observation is one that she takes pride in as she watches over her pack, keeping track of their emotions and their inner workings. While she does this to ensure that her pack is in at least relatively stable condition, she also does this for another...darker reason. Something that the Sanzin are rather used to is the sheer amount of sadism that is all over the place. This trait is no different for the pack’s leader. Artemis has always been rather sadistic, enjoying watching as her packmates brawl and duel for the right of dominance within the pack. To her, watching as wolves get pummeled to the ground is a great source of entertainment when she is in a rather bad mood. While she does like seeing her own packmates go after one another, she actually tends to enjoy watching as loners and wolves from other packs get their guts beat in. At least, for entertainment only. There are really two “sides” to her sadistic side that both show equally. One is applied to wolves outside of the Sanzin, which is just the joy of watching an insignificant wolf be put in their place. But the other, in her eyes anyway, is for a good reason. Sure, getting joy out of watching your own pack attack itself would seem rather crazy to anyone on the outside. But to her, these displays of strength and power only help improve the pack. As sad as it is, there aren’t always a constant supply of loners to slam to the ground, which means that they have to get more skill development somehow. The camp of the Sanzin is not only a living place, but also a training ground, and this is how it is meant to be. By battling one another and, hopefully, standing back up to continue when the fight is over, the pack is increasing its strength and durability. In a way, by allowing these events to take place and watching over them, she is showing that she cares, in a tough love sort of way.
Already the way she is, Artemis is both common and uncommon in the ways of the Sanzin. But, if there were anything that she would be known for that would make her stand out, it is a trait that she tends to keep to herself until opportunity arrives in her paws. Though, before this trait is expressed, one thing must be made clear. When it comes to how she treats and acts towards certain wolves, there are a few different factors that play into the result, or a few categories rather. These categories, in pairs, are Sanzin and non-Sanzin, and adult and pup. Each pairing of the categories results in a different form of interaction. When it comes to adult wolves within the Sanzin, she is an Alphess through and through; her dominance and her word are placed above theirs openly and done so in multiple displays. As for adult wolves who are not of the Sanzin, they are even lower than the lowest of the Sanzin’s Jokers, and hold no form of significance in her mind. Their existence is either meant for violent entertainment, or a mere tick on her backside. While adult wolves see the harsh and more aggressive side of her, the same can not be said the same for pups and yearlings. Young wolves are far more of an interest to her than any adult wolf would ever be, and for good reason. In a way, you could say that Artemis has a soft-spot for young wolves. Now do not take this as a motherly sort of “I love pups”. It is far from that, for this she-wolf is not the doting-mother sort. No, she sees pups for what they are: young, naive, and impressionable. Little balls of soft clay with fur ready to be shaped and molded into whatever their molder wishes. In this way, Artemis ends up taking on a teacher kind of role, immediately latching her sights onto any young wolf that appears. Whether they are from her own pack, are loners, or even from the other packs, all young wolves are too childish and clueless to truly make their own decisions. Their personalities develop depending on who is around them and who teaches them to grow. In this way, Artemis wishes to make herself a primary mentor-figure in the eyes of young wolves, gently hooking them and holding them under her invisible white wing. The intentions behind this teaching can vary, but ultimately have the same goal: create a group of wolves who are dedicated and worthy followers, likely of herself. Sooner or later, her power and hold over the minds of others would spread, and, with any luck, eventually she would grow an army of wolves who know her as the dominant master that she is.

Build: Quite large with long legs, her body is built for speed, but her size gives her intimidation and strength.
Fur Color(s): Pure white with tints of grays and reds
Fur Pattern(s): None, minus her specks of gray and red
Fur Length: Short-Medium
Nose Color: Pure black
Eye Color: Vibrant golden
Scars: Many hidden beneath her pelt
Distinct Features: Bright fur, large size, piercing gaze
Strengths: Speed, close-combat, intimidation
Weaknesses: Speed during battle, swimming, camouflage
A ghost among the Sanzin meadows, most describe this peculiar she-wolf as a wisp, a light in the darkness that leads those who have fallen off the beaten path to their doom. With a coat of nearly pure snow white, only dashes and tints of grays and reds to break the solidity, blanketed across a well-toned and large yet elegant body, it isn’t uncommon for Artemis to receive stares from her peers.
Her face, to those outside of her own pack, seems quite friendly and sometimes kind, even playful or flirtatious. But those who truly know her know better. That false sense of safety and security that accompanies that friendly face is merely a disguise, hiding the dangerous gaze and stern expression she holds when around her own.
A naturally large wolf, it is hard to tell if she is more built for strength or for speed. But, in truth, there are two sides to her spectrum. When it comes to her overall handling of herself, her strategies, and her methods of protection, she is a Sanzin wolf in every sense, those long legs and large paws carrying her through the valley like a leaf on the wind. But, when a bit of claw-to-claw combat is needed, she is a force to be reckoned with, using her size to topple and crush her enemies. Agility and speed are her most powerful abilities, but her strength is nothing to look down upon.

Birthplace: The Sanzin
Pre-Birth | Summit. A brute named after the mountainous peaks that loom over the valley, and for good reason. A boulder in both size and strength and a King of the pack, one look could often send pups, and even some adult wolves, hiding behind their mothers. Intimidation was an easily mastered skill for a wolf of his stature.
And Nix. A flame among the Sanzin meadows, alighting fires in any who locked eyes with her own. With a pelt as red as an open-sky sunset, and a body with as much grace and finesse as a feline, her beauty was known even by some outside of the pack. A temptress of the plains, she was known for using her looks and her charm to enchant not only some of the younger males into doing her bidding, but also wolves ranked above her to bring herself higher. While she was always drawing in her prey with that alluring smile and that sparking gaze, she brought credit to her name by taking none of those she enchanted as a mate, nor did she allow any of them to mate with her. She never truly felt attraction to any of those that she charmed or otherwise, but Summit was the one brute to ever catch her attention.
Though he knew of her flirtatious ways, he was also one of the few to acknowledge her lack of true courtship and her lack of pups. The two of them hadn't seemed like an ideal couple, but that didn't stop them from getting together and having pups. Their first litter only consisted of one pup, a male who was unfortunately somewhat small. By the time he was old enough to try and make a name for himself within the pack, he left, having been a very low number and, sooner or later, a Joker his whole life. Neither of his parents prevented him from leaving, for if he wasn't strong enough to maintain a life within the pack, he was not their son.
A little later on they had another litter, this time consisting of three pups. Two she-wolves they named Artemis and Hera and a brute that was named Archer. Artemis took on Summit's white pelt, though she had small flecks of her mother as well. Hera was both a red and a white wolf, a perfect mixture of the two. And Archer was a redish-tan male who was smaller than both sisters.
Yearling | Artemis, having been the largest pup, had the most potential in the eyes of her peers, bringing her to be raised to believe this. Though she trained hard even before she was old enough to truly do so, she didn’t bother with competing with her siblings or any of the other pups, instead keeping to herself. In comparison to both of them, constantly fighting and trying to rise, she was far more quiet and reserved, which allowed them to rise in the ranks quicker than her. She was almost always a step or two behind them, Hera sooner or later rising to the higher numbers with Archer right behind her. In a way, this was when Artemis' sadism began, watching her siblings in a constant struggle to get higher than the other. Many times she had watched her siblings battle from the sidelines during the games, both aiming to become Jacks, or even King and Queen. Meanwhile, Artemis settled with where she was. For now. One of the more eventful times of her watching her siblings struggle, Archer had made a bold move, challenging their father for his position as a King. Summit, never having been one to care for family-bonds or exceptions due to kinship, took this challenge seriously. Due to his smaller size and lack of strength compared to his father, Archer's ambition led him to meet death sooner than he wished. Nix was upset, but she hid it, attempting to blend in with the pair of sisters who didn't seem fazed.
Over time, Hera ended up becoming a Jack while Artemis remained a number, though she was a high one at that, rising in the hierarchy quietly. Much to her displeasure, Hera managed to get herself into the position of Queen of Clubs not too long after, growing an ego in the process. Artemis was not one to take treatment from someone like this, especially since she was the target of Hera's bragging. She intended to prove Hera wrong, and she did.
Adult | Having developed her skills, Artemis began working her way quickly up the ranks, being promoted to a Jack and, with quite a bit of effort, she was brought up to be an Ace. At the time, this was enough for her. She had risen above her sister and above her parents, and she had power. What more could she want. The Suit at the time, an arrogant and cocky brute named Idogras, was the typical kind of Suit that the Sanzin was used to: lazy, thought he was the shit, and basically let the pack do whatever he want as long as he was entertained. To his credit, he had chosen Artemis based on her skill rather than flattery as most of the other Aces had, which only made her ego grow further. But, unfortunately, she did learn that his choice to make her one of his Aces was for more than just strength. He began to hang out around her a lot, showing her a strange amount of affection and attention. At some point he mated with her, and the only reason she allowed it was because he made it seem as though it was just an encounter for pleasure and she ignored it. It wasn’t until after that he suddenly spoke the words “when will my heirs be born?” that she realized. He used her so that he could get heirs out of a wolf who had more power and strength than him. She had hoped that it didn’t work, but she was wrong, finding out on her own. She kept this information from everyone, never telling anyone, not Idogras, not Moro, no one. When she began to get bigger stomach wise, she made it a point to eat more food so that it came off as her getting fat. And when the time came and she knew they were on their way, she went off on her own into the territory. It took her a good bit of time, especially with no help, but she had a litter of four, quite a few pups for a first time mother, which was a bit annoying. But she knew that she couldn’t keep them. She had more important matters to handle, especially since the Chance Games were only a few days away. So, she went back to the pack and managed to quietly get in contact with another of the Aces, a male named Othis who she happened to get along with due to their similar views and attitudes within the pack. She brought him to where the pups were, claiming that she found them and that she thought she spotted the mother when she arrived, but she bolted. If some loner mother wanted nothing to do with her new pups, that was none of Artemis’ business, but the least they could do was take the pups home, add to the pack’s numbers. Though Othis helped her and didn’t question her story, he had his suspicions. They took the pups home and handed them over to a she-wolf who had her own litter recently and still had milk, letting her raise them.
With that situation taken care of, Artemis turned her focus to the next ordeal: the Games. For the whole games she watched silently, doing as she always did. But, on the very last day when the games were meant to be ending, she waited until the very end to step forward, challenging Idogras for his position in the pack, which earned a hearty laugh from the one who had never had his authority truly challenged. But he realized pretty quick that this was no joke.
The battle was ruthless, brute against she-wolf, Suit against Ace. In the end, the previous Suit was displayed within the center of the den site, fur coated with a mixture of blood, but mostly his own. Though Artemis came out with some good wounds, they weren't enough to cripple her or take away her abilities. Winning the challenge fair and square, Artemis became the new Suit of the Sanzin Pack, quickly removing the previous Ace's with her own choices, save for Othis, who she kept in his position.
Since then, she has created herself a bit of a reputation for being a rather assertive and orderly Suit who allows the battle-affairs of the pack to continue, but still places down an iron paw when needed. The word of the Suit is law, and she has made sure that this fact is known. As she watches over the pack, now that Idogras is gone, on occasion she looks over to four particular young ones who are beginning to grow older. Since becoming the Suit, her plans have shifted. She knows that the Sanzin are power hungry and typically don’t care for the word of the Suit, nor are they truly loyal. Her plan has become one of personal achievement: if the wolves she has won’t become loyal to her, she will make wolves who are. If she has children, she can raise them to follow her and be loyal to her, both as their mother and as their Suit. But she recognizes that there is a knick in her plan: her first litter. None of them are aware that they are her children. When she had them, she had no desire to have children, but now she does. She may be manipulative and sadistic and uncaring, but she has enough sense to know that suddenly revealing to these young ones that she is their mother would not work in her favor. If anything, they would likely reject her for giving them up back when. So she merely watches, keeping an eye on if any of them happen to take an interest in her or show particular potential.
