Gender: Female
Orientation: Asexual
Age: 4.5 Years
Pack: Au'Dar
Rank: Anima
Name: Wynd
Species: American Badger
Wynd is like a grumpy old man. He is very protective of Silver and even if you can't see him you can be sure that he is near Silver and watching. He has a sarcastic side to him and enjoys to have a fight, though sometimes Silver has to mind him like a mother, reminding him to be kind.
Height/Weight-She is all leg, standing at 30 inches tall and has a rather thin frame that weighs about 85 pounds. Though she is limber don't let it fool you, she can hold herself in a fight.
Scent-Her scent mixes with that of other animals and plants that is calming. There are hints of vanilla and jasmine that lends to her comforting aurora.
Voice-Jennifer Hale, known to voice Cinderella and Avatar Kyoshi, her voice is soft but has a strong edge that has some masculine tones to it. It makes her a bit self conscious but tries to work through that.
When the day came for her apprenticeship to be chosen, her parents watched with pride as each other their sons were chosen to study the trade leading to warriorship but when it came to Silver, the life of a warrior was not meant to be. The Anima, a wise and old wolf, stepped forward, claiming that Silver was going to be sent to train with the Shepherds. Her parents were shocked, but there was no arguing with the Anima, but after that day Silver was treated with the feeling of being different. She isolated herself, she did not fit in with her family, so she focused on her training, throwing herself into it with strong dedication and she thrived in the care of the Tafa’s. She cared for them as if they were her pups and they seemed drawn to her. They thrived in her care and it seemed like their guidance whispered to her on the winds.
When it was The Coming-of-Age Ceremony, Silver stood with the other Shepherds, by now the bond with her family was a thin line, they felt more like distant pack mates than blood related. Her mentor spoke highly of her and Silver was eager to take her role of a Garde, but once again The Anima stepped forward, declaring that Silver would continue to train as a Navio during her time as a Shepherd. The pack was surprised, Silver included, all she could do was stand there while The Anima explained that she was getting older and eventually would make her return to the Earth and needed someone to take her place and Silver was the one to take the mantle. The Gods had whispered to her, as had the Tafa’s that Silver had a gift that set her apart from the others and her gift was meant to be nurtured. The pack watched in awe as The Anima stepped aside, letting Silver enter the Citadel to find her Tafa, for what was The Anima without a Tafa?
Still in shock from the turn of events Silver walked into the citadel, but the walk turned into a run. Everything was a blur as she ran faster and faster, as if she would escape all that made her different. Her life would have been so much easier if she could have been a warrior. She ran for what felt like hours until her paws started to ache. She slowed, her breathing labored, finding herself alone. She fell back onto her haunches, taking deep breaths as she scanned the area. For a moment she thought was alone until a glint of amber eyes leered at her from the shadows. There was a growl and the flash of teeth as a badger lunged at her.
Silver jumped to her paws and dodged, never did she attack, she dodged every bite and swipe of knife like claws. They continued this dance, Silver trying to reason with it but there was seemingly nothing she could do. She jumped again but at this moment a cold wind whispered to her a word: stop. And she did. She didn’t move, staring down at the badger then lowered into a bow. The badger stopped and they looked into each others eyes.
This Badger came to be known as Wynd, walked by Silvers side out of the Citadel. Bonding with a rare Tafa seemed to cement the belief that Silver was to be the next Anima.
The following years Silver studied with the elder Anima while continuing her work as Shepherd and for once felt like she was in the right place. She felt at home, but as time went on the Anima grew weak and soon is was Silvers turn to challenge for the role as Anima. There were a few others that challenged with her, it made her nervous, what if she was just a failure? The wind brushed against her fur as she charged into the Citadel and one by one found the eleven wolves with the help of the Tafa, some asked her riddles others challenged her in games and others chose to point her in the right direction with no stipulation. Timber emerged as the victor and became the new Anima, soon having to lay to rest her own mentor who she had learned to love as a parent.
Though her family speaks of her with pride, Silver keeps her distance from them, choosing to stay near her den and preferring the company of the various Tafa than other wolves.

History
Descended from a line of warriors, Silver future was planned out for her from day one, she was going to continue to serve along side her brothers. Her parents had big dreams that their pups would grow strong and fierce, but Silver had a softer side that she thought she was good at hiding, though hiding made life harder. Often, she snuck away, watching the other wolves and their Tafa’s. The various animal partners intrigued her, and she could not wait for the day she would find hers. Though they were not hers, she felt a love and admiration for the animals that she could not explain, though others could see the care in her eyes.
