Adeleine is like a ghost in the deep woods. Her fur is white - an off white in the summer and a stark, snow-white in the winter. She has dull blue eyes and a scar draped across her muzzle. Her fur is thick and plush - with it having a shorter appearance in the summer and a longer, shaggier appearance in the winter. She is a small wolf only reaching 30" at the shoulder, but where size lacks, she prevails in speed and somewhat stamina.

+ Intelligent, Dedicated, Adventurous, Forthcoming, Pragmatic, Attentive
- Jaded, Secretive, Cold, Distant, Aggressive, Blunt
Adeleine, from a rough upbringing and several traumatic experiences, is pretty hardened personality wise, but also cold. She has her positives, such as her intelligence and her dedication to specific tasks and goals in her life, and she is quite adventurous and likes to explore, however Adeleine is a lone wolf at heart and is not easy to get to know. She doesn't trust others much and a certain encounter in her past has left her views jaded to strangers. Adeleine does not like talking about her problems and thus keeps her personal secrets to herself. Her most outward expression is her coldness, always giving a disinterested or even angry looking glance towards others. She can be very aggressive and combative at times when she is stressed. Otherwise, Adeleine can be very forthcoming to those she trusts, always willing to be friendly and help out those who have proven that they won't hurt her. Adeleine has a pragmatic view on her life, applying logical explanations to whatever she is experiencing and rarely dwelling on anything that deviates from the most logical sense, as fun as theorizing can be. However, this outlook can also make her seem blunt, and in many cases Adeleine truly is blunt and straight to the point about almost everything. She does not sugarcoat issues for sure - if something is not looking so great, she will make it known without hesitation and without a care if it hurts someone's feelings. Lastly, Adeleine is attentive and pays attention to most things, she is rarely absentminded or distracted and she listens when she needs to.

Adeleine was born to Stag, an infamous wolf of the area, and an unknown mother. She has two brothers named Algernon and Archibald. Adeleine and her brothers never knew their mother, having been dropped off at another pack by her when they were beginning to wean. Their mother died of fatigue and starvation, having given her life to make sure her pups survived the journey to this pack. The pups were given to a mother also weaning her pups, who happily took them, but the pups were effectively raised by the entire pack - mainly the designated caretakers.
Once the trio was weaned, they began to learn about how to be a wolf under these caretakers - how to hunt, fight, and work with herbs. Life was good.
However, Adeleine would feel left out of a lot of games. One of the caretakers, the father of the pups she spent time with, and the highest ranking caretaker, would pay more attention to his own pups than any other pups, especially Adeleine and her brothers. Adeleine didn't think this was so bad at first...
...until the incident.
Adeleine, during a designated naptime while the rest of the pack was away, intended to go get a drink of water, and she was also a bit overwhelmed by recent events and just in general. Adeleine didn't remember much about this trip aside from having her head forced into the water and her being unable to breathe.
Next thing Adeleine knew, she had been kidnapped by a loner. A crazy female who's name was lost to Adeleine by now. She insisted that Adeleine was named Luna, trying to gaslight the pup. The pup knew better and fought back and back, wanting to go home. As she began to lose hope, things got to a boiling point between her and her captor, and she was attacked, leaving a scar on her face that would remind her of this event and the following forever.
Not long after, her pack came and rescued her. The loner got away, much to Adeleine's dismay. The pack was apologetic... except for one wolf.
The lead caretaker. He was quick to blame Adeleine for this whole mess, saying that she knew better and should not have wandered off, despite the fact that she was literally at the closest body of water. The pack leader was enraged, demoting the lead caretaker. In retaliation to his demotion, Adeleine would start getting in trouble for miniscule things for the remainder of her puphood.
By the time Adeleine was a year old, she was patrolling the territory searching for food as a new hunter... when she saw the loner that kidnapped her. Adeleine, haunted by the past and having unresolved anger against her captor and the lead caretaker, whom she couldn't take her anger out on, she saw red. She remembers springing towards the loner one moment, then standing over the loner the next, with the loner being torn to shreds. Adeleine smiled at the fact that she finally got her revenge, and for a while she would be happy. She simply washed the blood off, buried the body far from the territory as she did technically do her part in defending the territory from trespassers that could harm the pack, and went about her day.
She didn't realize the pit growing in her chest until a few days later. The pit of despair.
Killing for revenge wasn't as good as she thought. She felt guilty about it. What if that wolf had a family now. What if she bettered herself? Adeleine would never know, but her guilt became so great that she feared that this was an anger issue.
For the safety of the pack - as much as she wished that caretaker would be punished harder in some way - she decided to leave. She approached the pack leader and announced her departure, and before she left, she bid her brothers goodbye, not telling them why she was leaving aside from wanting to explore the world. She stressed that she had to leave alone, and they understood.
Adeleine still travels as a loner to this day, having traveled very far from her own home trying to accept that what was done was done and she could not take back killing that loner.
